Welcome to Knob Hill Sportsman's Club. We are a shooting sports and conservation club

KHSC is committed to promoting the safe enjoyment of the sports of hunting and shooting.
Along with this commitment we are determined to support wildlife preservation.
Our membership is as diverse as the hunting seasons! We have members from all walks of
life and with all types of shooting and hunting experience. New members are welcomed and
encouraged to participate in all club activities.

Knobhill Sportsman’s Club of Wadena will be starting the summer season with the Outdoor Pistol, as soon as weather permits. RUNNING TARGET will start Monday, April 23, 2012 at 6:00 PM and continue through September.
The running target range has been in operation for several years and is a challenging shooting event. Olympic Running Target coach Martin Edmunson designed the running target equipment we use.
Event: Running Target
Schedule: Monday evenings starting at 6:00 PM.
Cost: $3.00 per evening plus your own ammo.
Equipment needed: Any center fire rifle.
Course of fire: 4 shots from each of five stations – 20 rounds per event.
4 shots at 25 yards – 4 shots in 3 target passes.
4 shots at 40 yards – 4 shots in 3 target passes.
4 shots at 60 yards – 4 shots in 3 target passes.
4 shots at 75 yards – 1 shot per pass
4 shots at 100 yards – 1 shot per pass
Target speed: 75 feet in 7 seconds
Rules: All shots are from standing position.
An optional league will be ran with 8 recorded scores needed to complete the league. This is an option, if you just want to join in on the shooting you are very welcome to participate.
Hearing and eye protection is required for all shooters and all range safety rules must be followed.
Knobhill Sportsman’s Club membership dues are $20.00 per year.
